Head through the doorway, then turn left when you see the floor trap in the middle of the new room.Ĭontinue down the hallway and ignore the devices and puzzles along the way. Let’s start with the path on the right side of the coffin – the one closest to Benben and Jeht. To do so, you’ll need to use four Primal Embers. The next objective is to open the coffin in this room. Thankfully, after the fight, a Teleport Waypoint will automatically activate at the entrance.Ī conversation will start once you reach the next quest marker inside the mausoleum. Once you enter the mausoleum, you’ll need to beat two Primal Constructs with the help of Jeht and Jebrael. Then use the Sand Slate to open the door. Interact with the device to the left of the stairs to rotate it twice. Defeat the construct and pick up the Primal Lights in the room.īring each Primal Light to a glowing floor tile to make new devices appear. Walk into the next room and pick up the Sacred Seal: Giant Serpent tablet that’s on the floor near the Primal Construct enemy. Pick it up and bring it to the glowing section of the floor - the Replicator Keystone - to complete the puzzle and unlock the door. The floating blue pyramid in the center of the room is called a Primal Light. The room at the end of the path contains new devices that you likely haven’t seen before. Grab it, then continue along the original path. The path will eventually split, allowing you to enter a small room that contains a Dendroculus. The hallways ahead contain traps, but they’re easily avoidable, just like the ones found earlier in the ruins. Interact with the Seelie on the other side of the door and follow it. This time, use the Scarlet Sand Slate to interact with the newly-unlocked device near the door. Use the elevator again to return to the room where you found Benben. Go to their locations to open up new paths. Special Sand Slate icons will now appear on the map as you explore the ruins. This Scarlet Sand Slate is actually a gadget that allows you to activate and interact with various mechanisms inside the ruins by providing special clearance. He’ll then privately ask you to take care of the slate because of his uneasiness and odd personal biases. When you return, Benben will begin reacting to Tirzad’s stone slate. Walk toward the elevated platform in the room and take the elevator up. Jebrael volunteers to keep Tirzad safe after he faints, so it’s up to the Traveler, Paimon, and Jeht to venture deeper into the ruins together. The former gets so worked up that he ends up fainting. Take a few steps forward to trigger a dialogue scene.Īnother argument begins as Tirzad is questioned by Jebrael about his legitimacy as a researcher. Another tablet, Sacred Seal: Valley, can be found right next to the Seelie’s pedestal. You’ll find your first underground Scarab here as you follow behind the Seelie. Several doors will unlock all at once to create a new hallway. Follow it to a switch that’ll open up the exit to this room. Open the chest and interact with the Seelie. All four torches and Tri-Yana Seeed are circled in the image below: There are three visible torches in the room that need to be lit up, and the fourth will become visible once you hit the green, floating Tri-Yana Seed with Electro when it’s on the right side of the chest. This next room contains a relatively basic torch puzzle. Also, both Jeht and Jebrael will show up to help, so this should be easy. These constructs are weak to Electro damage and Catalyze reactions. Activate the switch and continue forward.Ī Primal Construct enemy will appear out of nowhere in the next room thanks to its cloaking technology, so be ready for a quick fight. There’s a switch buried beneath the sand on the right side of the door, so use Anemo to uncover it. Activate the new Teleport Waypoint on your left, then head inside.įollow the straight path through the doorway until you reach another door. Tirzad will join you and open the giant door to create a path inside. The group ironically decides that going deeper into the ruins might be the key to finding a way out of the pit, so walk over to the quest marker after the conversation. The situation between the team members devolves into an argument because Tirzad realized he’s paying too much for Nachtigal, Jebrael, Jeht, and Bonifaz’s services. Return to the group to officially meet the rest of the archaeology team. She also really wants Paimon to teach her how to float, but that’s a less important detail. She explains that the team has fallen down the pit and heatstroke has begun to set in, which is delaying their attempt at returning to the surface.
